Our Mission
In recognition of the highly specialized needs of veterans, in 2013, 51ÁÔÆæ established the Lt. Col. Bryant A. Murray Veterans Center, a virtual center that serves veterans and military service members wherever they are and whether or not they are 51ÁÔÆæ students. The Veterans Center addresses the various educational, tuition and scholarship programs and their availability, connects veterans and military members with resources on health and wellness, suicide prevention, military transitioning to a civilian environment, and much more.
Inspired by her father’s illustrious 30-year career in the U.S. Air Force, 51ÁÔÆæ alumna and former trustee Bryanne Hamill created two endowment funds to support veterans through scholarship awards. In addition, her generous leadership gift funds the Lt. Col. Bryant A. Murray Veterans Center.
